AIR TO AIR Thermal Shock Chambers

The traditional approach: two temperature methods, specimen moving with the basket

CST models - Vertical (130 and 320 l) or horizontal (500 and 1000 l) chambers with 2 compartments corresponding to 2 different temperature levels. The 130 l model, named "spinner", is supplied with a motorized system connected by a screw rod for the transfer of the specimen between the hot and cold compartments. The CST130/2T "spinner" has been completely redesigned based on the Discovery My model, thus obtaining an improvement of performances and a significant reduction of consumption.

An alternative approach: two temperature methods, specimen fixed in its position

CST "flapper" models - These chambers (130 and 320 l) have a design that can dramatically improve the space crowded situation of many testing laboratories, as the specimen is fixed in its position and the chamber is connected alternatively to hot and cold compartments.

LIQUID TO LIQUID Thermal Shock Chambers

In order to fully satisfy the needs of customers and to comply with standards requiring Liquid to Liquid thermal shock tests, two CSTL models are available (12 and 20 l). The basket movement from one well to another (hot/cold) is electrically operated.

An innovative software

The ACS "spinner" thermal shock chambeer is now equipped with the new all-in-one software MyKratos™ allowing to manage, monitor and assist the chamber through mobile and desktop devices, using WiFi, Ethernet, or mobile network. No additional hardware or software required.

  • The chamber is equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), used to manage all chamber functions and safety interlocks.
  • A special device is used to control the chamber via mobile devices, such as tablets and smartphones, or to establish a remote internet comnnection.
  • The system can connect several chambers in cluster mode at the same time and can provide a common supervision from a centralized point.
  • MyKratos™ includes MyAngel24™, our remote teleassistance system: the chambers stay connected to the remote server 24 hours a day monitoring running conditions and any anomalies, in order to guarantee faster and more efficient service and maintenance activities.
