Acotec joines the Angelantoni Group |

On 6 August 2010 ACOTEC joined the Angelantoni Industrie SpA Group, a company with head office in Massa Martana (Perugia) and production facilities in Italy, Germany, France, India, and China. With this operation the group - which produces such equipment as environmental simulation test chambers, motor vehicle test benches, and electrodynamic vibrating systems, as well as operating in the renewable energy (especially solar energy) sector - further develops the Life Science sector.
ACOTEC has operated for over twenty-five years in the sector of high-technology plant engineering and in the design and production of controlled-contamination areas and work environments. Organized into two divisions, "protected crops" and "clean rooms", it was one of the first companies in Italy to offer turnkey laboratories authorized by the AIFA (Italian Drug Agency) for operation as pharmaceutical plants for advanced therapies. ACOTEC has produced facilities in Italy and Europe in the pharmaceutical, medical, and food sectors.
ACOTEC's "clean rooms" division, together with that of the STERIL division, present in the Group since 2008, strengthens the position of Angelantoni Industrie in the biomedical market. Today the Group presents itself to its customers as sole partner for the design and production of controlled-contamination environments, complete with specific equipment for the protection of the operator and the product, as well as of low- and very low-temperature refrigeration equipment, Angelantoni's strength for over 70 years and distributed in Italy by the subsidiary AHSI spa in Bernareggio (MB Monza and Brianza).
On the other hand, the "protected crops" division, together with the subsidiary SOLARLIGHT ITALIA, will make it possible to supply advanced-technology photovoltaic greenhouses, situating them alongside the more traditional greenhouses installed by ACOTEC on 3 out of the 5 continents.
