Short Course to be held at the Novotel Hotel in Milton Keynes on the 25-26 February 2009
Following this inspection by the external auditors we retained our ISO accreditation. This has been made possible by the hard work of the Quality Manager, Sharon Leake, and the Quality auditor, Sharon Wijesuriya and overseen by Manager Director, Trevor Leake.

There are still places available for this popular annual short course
The aim of this two day intensive course is to provide a basic understanding of the techniques of vibration testing with particular emphasis on the practical aspects of the subject. No prior knowledge of the subject is required.
Previously held at Cranfield University, the course will take place on 25-26 February 2009 at the Novotel Milton Keynes. The course has been revised in response to delegate comments from previous courses and will now be held over 2 days.
This course is not sponsored by, or dependent upon, any product manufacturer.
The course fee of £450 (UK Pounds) includes comprehensive course notes, lunches, refreshments and a short course dinner.
Outline Syllabus
- An overview of Vibration Testing
- Principles of electromagnetic shakers
- Power supplies for EM shakers
- Sine and random signals
- Vibration fixtures
- Control systems for EM shakers
- Measurement and recording techniques
- Analysis techniques and interpretation
Demonstrations sessions will be held on both days to reinforce concepts introduced in the lectures, illustrate techniques and avoidable pitfalls in vibration testing.
