• ESS consists in the application of such stimuli as supply and thermal cycles alternated or combined with vibration tests aimed at highlighting those defects that cannot normally be detected by standard inspections.



• The application of ESS techniques are mainly aimed at the appreciation of latent manufacturing defects and "infantile mortality" through fast thermal cycles (up to 30°C/min in our ESS chambers with mechanical thermoregulation system, and up to 60°C/min when using LN2).
